Louis Allen was 44 years old an African-American businessman, he lived in Mississippi,
he had tried to register to vote.
He served in the USA during the war at the age of 23.
He was married and had 4 children.

Louis was harassed and imprisoned repeatedly by County Sheriff Daniel Bryant Jones.

In 1964, Louis was trying to leave the state after his mother died, cause he was afraid for his life.
The night before he left, Louis was ambushed at the border of his property,
and killed by two shotgun blasts to the head.
