Corey Jones, a 31 years old black man, who had a very large extended family, his cousins even played in the NFL.

He used to play the french horn in Florida, and graduated from University Of Akron
with a business administration degree and music.

In 2015, he was shot and killed by officer Nouman Raja.
All he was doing was waiting for the tow truck for his disabled car.

Raja approached Jones in a unmarked white van, and within a moment,
Raja fired 6 shots, 3 of which hit Jones.

After further investigation, turns out that Raja didn’t even announce himself as a police officer.
He was charged with manslaughter and attempted first-degree murder.

Corey Jones died directly after the shooting.
