Alberta Spruill
Alberta Spruill was a 57 years old woman and a city employee, who was devout churchgoer.
She died by a heart attack, after the NYPD stormed a building in Harlem after getting a tip
that told them a gun and drugs dealer was there.
The only resident there was Alberta.
The raiding team threw a stun grenade before breaking in, Spruill was stunned and fell to the ground.
She died two hours later.
Alberta’s death was ruled a homicide, but no other official charges were placed on the commander
in charge of the officers who raided.
