Aiyana Stanley Jones was a 7 year old African-American girl from Detroit.

She was killed by a shot in the head by police officer Joseph Weekley,
during a drug raid that the Detroirt police conducted.

The officer was charged with involuntary manslaughter and reckless endangerment with a gun.

His first trial in 2013 ended in a mistrial.
A retrial trial in 2014 has dismissed the involuntary manslaughter charge.
then a 2nd trial in 2014 ended with another mistrial.
And on 2015, the officer was cleared of the reckless endangerment charge,
ensuring that he was cleared of all the charges, and that there won’t be any more trials against him.

The officer that killed her was found “not guilty”.
