Ahmaud Marquez Arbery, a 25 years old Black man, a loving son and a loving brother.
was jogging in Georgia, when three men decided to follow him.
These men were Travis McMichael, Gregory McMichael,
and their neighbor William “Roddie” Bryan who was recording this pursuit and the shooting on his mobile phone.
After a couple of minutes, Travis confronted Ahmaud with a shotgun, then fatally shot him three times.

After more than two months, on May 7, Gregory and Travis were arrested and charged with murder.

His death, and the handling of this case,
resulted in nationwide criticism and debates on racial profiling in the United States.

No evidence has surfaced of Ahmaud ever committing any crime.
